Yet another glorious sunny day! We have been blessed on this trip - we can recall only three rainy days out of 36, and none of them prevented us from doing what we had planned. Today's scenery was a marked contrast to the days prior. We headed out across central Utah on I-70 to Green River then north through Price and on into Salt Lake City. While the entire trip was spectacular, the road through Price Canyon on Rt 6 was really special! Still some remnants of fall foliage around. Lots of hills with bare "quakies" made us wish we had been here two weeks ago!
By late afternoon we had reached our ultimate goal for the day - IKEA. (To think we had driven 8000 miles to go to IKEA). Fortunately, we didn't have any room to carry furniture!
Drove on to Ogden for the night. Dinner at Red Lobster. Home tomorrow!!
