Welcome to the BLOG of our 2012 Cross Country Adventure! We left Boise on Thursday, Sept 13 and drove up to Moscow to visit Janet and Shawn and the grandkids. On Friday, we drove up to Spokane and met Andy and Helen for lunch with Mother at O'Donohue's. Then we drove on to Missoula to end the day with a nice dinner at a pub called the "Buck Snort" (really) We were bothered both days by choking smoke from a number of fires in the northwest. In fact, high school games in Moscow/Pullman were postponed due to unhealthy air. Visibility is really poor - we hope it will clear up for tomorrow, when we head off for Great Falls and Fort Benton, Montana.
It was great seeing you, even if it was only for a little while. The kids miss you already. Have a safe trip; can't wait to hear all about it!
